Changing credit card
or bank account information
Keep a
note: If in any
circumstances you are switching your payment method from Credit Card to
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or vice versa, please contact us.

In
QuickBooks, go to Employees > My Payroll Service > Account/Billing Information.
2.
Sign
in using your Intuit Account login.
3.
Once
signed in, go to Billing Details box. Make sure that the level of information may vary
depending on your contact role. If you don't see any information under
the Billing
Details box, this means that you're not
the current billing
contact. To change the Holder and/or the
billing contact, please contact us.
4.
If
you come across the current credit card information, you are the billing contact of your company. Select
the Edit link to update your billing
information.
5.
After
checking through above mentioned steps enter your new billing information and
select I Agree.
The
question raised in minds of the users is ‘What am I paying for?’
A subscription that you activate to enable the
payroll features is called QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Service. For example, automatic
payroll tax calculation, payroll updates, and payroll forms.
What
does billing to my credit card or bank account includes?
The
following will be billed to the credit card or bank account we have on file:
· Subscription Fee – It is usually charged at the start of each
subscription term (Annual or Monthly).
· Per Employee Fee – This depends on the number of employees
that you pay at least once in a month and it is charged in the following
month. The application of per employee fee depends on the type of subscription
that you have.
A
notification email containing your subscription details proceeding to the
renewal and upon the renewal of the payroll service is sent to your
company's billing
contact (initially the purchaser of the
payroll service). If you are looking forward to change the billing contact of
your account, please contact us.
Who
have the authority to update my billing information?
To
be able to update the billing information for the payroll service, the given
requirements must be met:
1.
You,
yourself are the authorized user of your account. Authorized users are contacts that are listed in
the accounts of the company. Only these users are have the access to company's
account, represent the company when interacting with Intuit, and contact
Intuit to add a new user.
2.
You
have your login information for My Account. Sharing of usernames and
passwords is not supported by the security policies so each contact will need
an Intuit Account login.
3.
If
you have QuickBooks
Desktop Payroll Enhanced, QuickBooks Desktop
Payroll Assisted, QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced, or the disk delivery service,
you can
update your billing information in the website of My Account, only
if you are using a credit card.
