Call QuickBooks Support to Fix “QuickBooks has Stopped Working Error”

When Customers Clicks on QuickBooks Desktop Software, they get an error “QuickBooks has stopped working”. There are few possible Reasons for this issue to occur and several fixes which may help User to resolve this QuickBooks Error Support message

* Your company File name is too big.

* Corrupted or missing QBWUSER.INI file.

* Corruption on your hard drive.

* Corrupted program files or QuickBooks Software installation.

* Corrupted Windows operating system

Below are the Steps to Fix QuickBooks Errors
Solution 1:

QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool (QBInstall Tool)

1. Download QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool

2. When prompted, save the file to the local Desktop.

3. Close all other existing open applications and then run QBInstall Tool.

4. Note: It might take few Seconds of yours to complete this task, depending on your internet connection and system’s performance.

5. Restart Your Machine after running the tool to make sure all components are properly updated.

 Solution 2:

Restart & Temporarily Disable your Anti-virus Software

* Reboot your Desktop.

* Try to Open your QuickBooks Desktop Software.

* Note: If the error persists, temporarily disable your anti-virus. If Not then Try Below Resolution

Solution 3:

Rename QBWUSER.ini file Extension

* Rename the QBWUSER.ini file Extension

* Note: Renaming the QBWUSER.INI file will delete the list of your previously opened company files

* Open the folder where the QBWUSER.ini is saved. if you can't see the folder, you might need to  uncheck shoe hidden items and Folders

* Location: C\Users\ [Your user name]\AppData\Local\Intuit\QuickBooks [year]

    * Right-click the QBWUSER.ini and select Rename.

    * Type .old extension at the end of the file name extension.

    * Example: QBWUSER.ini.old

* Rename EntitlementDataStore.ecml, File Extension

* If still, software doesn’t open after renaming either QBWUSER.ini or EntitlementDataStore.ecml, try to open sample company file.

 * If Sample file in QuickBooks Software can be opened without any error message but you can't open your actual data file, then copy your company file and save it to a different place on the desktop and try to open it from there. If Users can open their company file from a different location without any issues, then it seems the folder that contains Company file is most likely damaged or Corrupted

    * If you cannot open you Company file, your company file is most likely Corrupted. Then Try to restore Previous Company file backup

    * If you can't open sample company file or QuickBooks won't even start, the QuickBooks installation is corrupted.

Solution 4:

Reinstall QuickBooks Software using Clean QuickBooks Installation 

Solution 5:

 Create a new Windows User and then try to open QuickBooks Software.
